Capsule is a design portal,
featuring independent designers. At Capsule, you will find original
clothing, jewelry, accessory, furniture and lifestyle designers. We
also feature artists, artisans and craftspeople. In addition to this
website, Capsule hosts the Capsule Design Festival, an event that
draws independent West Coast designers, to display and merchandise
their creations. Our Capsule encapsulates a special blend of design,
art and culture, mostly derived from the fertile incubator of the
San Francisco Bay Area design scene. Like any good formula, special
care goes into selection of ingredients. Of course, Harris and Scott
are always looking to improve the mixture. Life isn't a static
experience; design shouldn't be, but often is. Our goal at Capsule
is to continually refine both the quality and quantity of designers,
to achieve an ultimate expression across the entire spectrum of
independent and DIY creative effort.

www.dwr.com
Design Within Reach is the source
for fully licensed classics. Our business started when our
founder tried to furnish his apartment with the mid-century classics
he'd come to appreciate while living in London. What he discovered
was that acquiring the clean, simple work of designers like
Saarinen,
Eames and
Bertoia was neither clean nor
simple. There had to be a better way, so in 1999 we bought 20
containers of product, mailed out a catalog and waited for the phone
to ring. (It didn't for 24 hours, until we realized the nighttime
answering machine had been accidentally left on.) The rest, as they
say, is history. By giving customers access to these items, and by
having them in stock and ready to ship, we made design within reach.

is a gift from God that needs love and nurturing. We know that there are
thousands of children that are left orphans and are not being provided
the love and nurture that they so desperately need and long for. Our
mission is to provide orphans worldwide not only with food, shelter and
basic needs as they grow older but also with love and parental care. We
will also help guide them through the healing process of overcoming any
abuse and/or neglect that they may have experienced and has caused them
emotional, physical or mental difficulties. If you would like to help us
by becoming a "friend," help is needed in the following areas: copy
writing, graphic design, fundraising, printing, and advertising.
